I had the pleasure of twice being interviewed on KBOO Radio, Portland, to discuss my art, my books, my accidental activism.

I was terribly nervous about having enough to say to fill almost an hour in my interview with Eduardo, on Buscando America, January, 2007. Of course, my two boys were not in the least bit surprised!

On Bread & Roses, February, 2007, I sang a live version of "What Color Are You?" It was my first time singing live on the radio, and my first time ever playing the guitar in public! I taught myself to play, the red guitar my dad gifted to me when he died.

You cannot image how relieved and overjoyed I was to make it all the way through the song, within the tight time limit, and my chords mostly intact!
